Israeli “Death to Arabs” Facebook group

The messages posted on the group’s homepage are calling for the killing of Arabs and Leftists. There is a debate amongst the group members, on whether all Arabs should be killed, or only some, while the rest should be deported. The photos uploaded to the group show the late racist Rabbi Meir Kahana and a small Meretz demonstration.
The important thing here is not that there are some several hundred racists in Israel, who wish to see the Arabs gone. We always had those – Kahana followers, transfer supporters, etc. The thing is that these people are not just scribbling graffiti in the dark anymore. They are registered to a public group, with their name and their picture, where all their friends can see them (for those of you who don’t use Facebook – when someone joins a group on the site, all his friends get notified. In this case, they will all see some sort of statues line, declaring that “X has joined the group ‘Death to Arabs’”). The people on this group don’t think that they need to hide. They don’t think that there is anything wrong with racism, hate-talk or incitement. In fact, they are rather proud of it.
The group looks as though it is five months old. It currently has 2,165 members. It seems that most of them are minors – your normal Israeli teens. Soon they will join the army.

One thing I noticed while checking out the site earlier, after Dimi linked to it, is that a noticeably high number of members is not Israeli – they are American Jews who attend religious day schools. That is worrying, too.

I believe the killer had an accomplice, but you are correct in saying that only one person was convicted. The killer was, however, part of the cell responsible for the ’93 trade center bombing, and his legal defense was financed by bin Laden. So yes, arabs.
As for your comment about how Kahane would have preferred to die — are you being facetious or just plain stupid?

I don’t think other members of the cell were convicted of killing Kahane, so it’s still one person. Strange thing to argue about, but there you go.
Funny, I posted a “fuck Israel” picture and had it deleted by facebook for violating their terms of services.
It’s incredible that Facebook allows such a group to exist. Just fancy that an arab group on Facebook calls for the killing of Jews, and try to imagine the consequences.

I reported the page to facebook as hate speech. it will be interesting to see if they take any action…
This page is entitled DEATH TO ARABS in Hebrew, this is direct contravention of FB rules regarding hate speech.

There are groups on facebook dedicated to mass reporting other groups (usually run by trolls) this tactic is effective and does get the offending groups removed.
Just ask the megaphonies.
Just curious: does anyone here read Arabic? Are there any “Death to Jews” groups on Facebook?
There’s a big leftist campaign, rightfully so, I believe, to shut down the group. However, I would be curious if they would also be willing to shut down the “Death to the Jews” groups as well.
The מוות לערבים group is disgusting, and troubles me greatly. But I’m just as worried by the radical left’s capitalizing on it for more Israel-hatred (and I’m a card-carrying Meretz supporter).

There are a lot of them on FB actually.
94% of the Jewish population of Israel supported and saw nothing morally wrong with the recent massacres in Gaza.
Am I alone in thinking that all of this has overtones of Germany in the 1930s under the Nazis?

Just kidding, all members and group has been reported to the department of homeland security as a radical group with members operating within the United States.
I’ve also reported this to 4 Christian Senators, the better business bureau, the Christian Coalation, Bill O’reilly, Fox News, MSNBC, CNN, the BBC, and of course avoidied the NY Times as they wouldn’t want to ruin the fun.
As for the 1993 WTC bombing, those researching the truth will find this another FBI orchestrated event. Tape recordings made of FBI confirmed this in court. I don’t see this as anything bad, on daily basis educated and uneducated Muslims throughout the world believe and condone the right to convert or kill khaffir non believers, ask any Muslim and he or she will tell you that with glee quoting their sham Quran written by a camel Jockey named Muhammad. Why all this brouhaha, Jews and Hindus have to survive, both don’t proselytize or go on a coercion drive to convert by any means. You are a born Jew or Hindu and therefore both have right to exist. Sadly Muslims have other ideas and therefore Jews and Hindus protect themselves.

your question got me curious so I just checked, and of course we have our share of weirdos.
There’s a bunch of groups in Arabic about ‘Jews’ (which is the keyword i searched for); a few ‘I hate Jews’ groups (average membership, 20 people), “Jews control Hollywood” (yep…), and stuff about “Jews and God”, and a couple about “Mubarak serves the Jews” and “Obama serves the Jews” (with 10 members or so).
And there is one ‘declare the war on Jews’ – 107 members – and one ‘death to the Jews’, with membership – one person.
Which I flagged as hate groups.
I just found another Facebook group – “Arabs for Israel.”
Just FYI all – the group has been deleted and no longer exists.
This is not uncommon for facebook. There are many racist groups. From kkk groups to holocaust denying groups. Facebook seems to be very slow at removing these groups. It’s a shame really because it’s starting to seem like the idiots are having their moment…
It’s OK to advocate the destruction of Arabs or any of “Israels” enemies including Christians. But say something bad about the Jews, God help you, you b ecome anti-simetic (sic) a Jew hateing Nazi, or worse.
