Sex with an Arab

Karin Arad answers questions about sex for the men magazine Blazer, and is well known for her funny and direct, and not PC at all, answers. What’s also well known is that Arad is half-Arab. Or, at least I though it was well known.

This month, she received the following question:

“My girlfriend has a very rich sexual history. I’m cool with that, but lately I found out that she also slept with an Arab. They dated for sometime and also had sex – and it’s kind of bothers me. I’m not racist at all. Is it normal that this thing bothers me?” Micha.

And the answer he got goes:

“…Regarding your uncomfortable feeling, calm yourself. You are not alone. Arabs are fashionable, and I might even go as far as saying that the Arab is the new Black, and that everybody fucks today out of national motives and in search of exotica. It is totally acceptable. In fact, most of my good friends have slept with Arabs. I don’t know if it bothered them – maybe it bothered their Polish mothers – because I am the last person they will admit to this. You see, Micha, most of my friends are guys I slept with, and the Arabs they slept with sums, less or more, with me. And since they are not complete morons, they tend to hide their racism from me. They don’t greet me with “Ahalan wa-Sahalan” and ask for Baklawa, they don’t hide Palestine flags in my wallet next to my Palestinian ID, and they don’t joke about vibrating Molotov cocktails in my bed. They are being extremely sensitive.

This can’t be said about you, Micha. You see, I understand that you feel a real distress, and that your friends in Israel Beitenu don’t return your calls, but what the hell gave you the idea to ask this question the only girl you know that her mother’s maiden name is Suliman? How stupid can you get?”
