Palestinian leaders have been suggesting the one-state solution for some time now, but only as leverage over the Israelis.

The idea its not popular with the people, as poll after poll has shown.

Perhaps if the Palestinian politicians were promoting the idea to their constituency rather than to the diplomats we would think something is happening. Otherwise, it's just another tactic in the tragic game of the "peace process".

Let the Arabs/Palestinians go to Jorrdan, which is the real Palestinian state anyway. There are 22 Arab states, they don't deserve another one. Sorry, but if the Arabs wanted a Palestinian state they should have said YES in 1947. They didn't -- tough luck. They can have a state in Gaza and 60% of the West Bank, which is what Rabin said they'd have to settle for.

Israel really wants Palestinians to just disappear. Go away and don't come back. That's their ideal solution.
